Invoices

Create invoices in seconds, customize branding and stamps, preview the PDF, send with your default Mail message, and record full payments — all Encrypted by Default.

Create an invoice

  1. Go to Invoices → tap .
  2. Select a client (or add a new one).
  3. Add line items (description, quantity, rate). Totals update automatically.
  4. Optionally add tax, discount, or notes/terms.

Tip: currency, tax rate, and date format come from Settings.

Line items, tax & discounts

  • Line items — free-form description, quantity × rate.
  • Tax — per-invoice tax using your default rate; editable per document.
  • Discount — percent or fixed amount, applied after subtotal.

Branding & stamps

Invoices reflect your brand from Branding (logo and colors). You can also control “Paid” stamps:

  • Stamp selection — choose the style that fits your brand.
  • Position — place the stamp in corners or across the page.
  • Color & scale — fine-tune visibility and emphasis.

Preview as PDF

Use Preview PDF to verify layout, branding, and any stamps before sending. What you see is what your client gets.

Send the invoice

  1. Tap ShareEmail to open Mail with the PDF attached.
  2. Subject/body use your Default Mail Message (set in Settings → Email), including placeholders like client name and invoice number.
  3. Review and send — or share via your preferred app.
Privacy prompt: when exporting a PDF/CSV, Solid Invoice warns you before data leaves the encrypted store. Confirm recipients and handle files with care.

Record payments

  • Full payment — when the balance reaches zero, status changes to Paid and the “Paid” stamp (if enabled) appears on the PDF.
