Appointments

Schedule follow-ups or site visits directly from a client. Add to your device’s Calendar and open directions in Maps with a tap.

Create an Appointment

  1. Open a Client record.
  2. Tap the three-dot (…) menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose New Appointment.
  4. Enter the details:
    • Title — e.g., “On-site walkthrough”.
    • Date & time — respects your locale and time zone.
    • Location — auto-fills from the client’s address; editable.
    • Notes — anything you want at your fingertips.
  5. Tap Add to Calendar to create the event in your device’s calendar.

Tip: If the client’s address is on file, you’ll see a shortcut to Open in Maps.

Get Directions

From the client or appointment, choose Open in Maps to launch your default maps app with the destination pre-filled.

Time Zones

Event times are created using your device’s current time zone. When your device time zone changes, your calendar app will display the correct local time.

Privacy & Security

  • Encrypted by Default: appointment details are stored locally and protected at rest. Only you can unlock them with your passcode or biometrics.
  • Your choice to share: when you add an event to Calendar, it’s saved to the calendar account you select. Manage visibility/sharing in your Calendar app.
  • Maps: opening directions hands the address to your maps app; no appointment data is transmitted by Solid Invoice.
